Hello Everyone!Today i'm posting another simple and easy recipe.we often feel (at least i do) that Making fish curry is really difficult as it is time consuming and involves lot of process,So i haven't really tried making it ever and even some how i tried to prepare, it wouldn't taste good,definitely not how my mother's fish curry would taste .So i had given upon making fish curry and we only used to order it from the restaurant whenever we wanted to eat fish curry.But last year one of my friend gave me a really easy recipe for making south indian style fish curry and it turned out to be really delicious.So I'm sharing the recipe here.
Ingredients:
- Fish-500gms.
- Tomatoes-2(Medium)
- Onions-2(medium)
- Green chilli-2(slit)
- Salt-1 tbsp
- Red Chilli Powder- 1tbsp
- Turmeric powder-1/4 tbsp
- Tamarind-50gms
- Mustard Seeds
- Cumin Seeds
Procedure:
- 1.Soak Tamarind in warm water.
- 2.Clean and wash the fish.Add chopped onions,tomatoes,green chilli ,Red chilli powder,Salt and turmeric to the fish and mix it gently.
- 3.squeeze the tamarind to extract the juice and pour it over the fish mixture and leave it for 10 mins.
- 4.Heat the oil in a pan,saute mustard seeds and cumin seeds for 2 minutes.
- 5.Add the fish mixture to the pan and cook it on low flame until the sauce thickens.
- 6.garnish with coriander leaves and serve it with rice.
